چکیده
The novel ultrasound-assisted co-precipitation method was successfully applied for the synthesis of NiFe2O4 catalyst, which offered advantages lower particle size and better crystalline structure without affecting phase planes. Furthermore, efficacy synthesized catalysts evaluated using catalytic degradation Chrysoidine R dye. study designed to evaluate effect different parameters, such as pH, duty cycle, power output, catalyst loading on dye a 5 wt% ultrasonically. At optimized condition 120 W ultrasonic power, 70% 3 0.5 g/L loading, 160 min reaction time, best 45.01% obtained. similar conditions, conventionally resulted in about 15% less degradation. observed follow second-order kinetics. To accelerate degradation, studies were performed hydrogen peroxide at various loadings where it elucidated that optimum use 75 ppm showed maximum 92.83%, signifying important role co-oxidant Overall, present clearly demonstrated potential benefits ultrasound well

TiO2-Zeolite Y Catalyst Prepared Using Impregnation and Ion-Exchange Method for Sonocatalytic Degradation of Amaranth Dye in Aqueous Solution
Characteristics and sonocatalytic activity of zeolite Y catalysts loaded with TiO2 using impregnation and ion exchange methods for the degradation of amaranth dye were investigated. The Ion-exchange method was used to encapsulate the TiO2 into the internal pores of the zeolite while the incorporation of TiO2 mostly on the external surface of zeolite was carried out using the impregnation method...

This study investigated the photo-degradation of methyl orange (MO) as a type of azo dye using a CuO/α-Fe2O3 nanocomposite. A CuO/α-Fe2O3 powder with a crystalline size in the range of 27-49 nm was successfully prepared using simple co-precipitation along with a sonication method. The characterization of the synthesized sample was done via XRD, FE-SEM, EDS, FTIR and DRS analyses. The Tauc equat...
